I believe 500£ should be enough to make an impact on Sri Lankan education. The reason is that Sri Lankan currency is weaker than the pound and 500£ can be converted in 100k rubles (local currency). This money should be enough to support a Chemistry lab at the girl’s high school I identified in the ex-war area (http://www.vogauk.co.uk/project.html at least some of the equipment) or to support other projects and the purchase of other equipment at the school. In case of a natural disaster which would prevent me to use the money to support a public school, still it would be possible to use them to fund the Tea Leaf foundation (http://tealeaftrust.com/work/). I got confirmation from the founder that 500£ should be enough to buy them a few computers or train a woman teacher in a subject which would help tea leaf pickers. Thanks to the currency exchange, it can be possible to make an impact, that’s the idea

It might not work for every student in the UK but it could be done as a lottery to fit with the budget and done cheaply to make available to as many as possible.

Yes, I think it will be plenty of money as I already have a venue and don’t have to pay for it. So the money would cover additional cost or could be used as bursaries for kids who need support.

I want to make a YouTube channel where I make videos about Artificial Intelligence and technology and I want to keep that up for a long period of time. Making videos doesn’t cost that much money, but costs time and effort if you like. The prize money can help me set it up with some equipment and so on and kick start it. It shouldn’t require much money to keep it up after that.
