I want to start a YouTube channel where I can explain cool stuff related to Artificial Intelligence so that anyone can understand! Anyone could ask questions (like you do here) and I would make a video to answer.

As described in my profile, the money will be spent to support the education of women in engineering, in a developing country as Sri Lanka, living in unprivileged areas. I have already identified a suitable girls high school in the north of the country, which is an area that suffered from a recent civil war.

If, for any case, it will be literally impossible to use the money in any way to support women in engineering, I will consider donating the money to a charity trust, which provides education to poor members of the tea leaf collection community (tealeaftrust.com/work/) to support general education primarily of women (other people are of course welcome too). The first option will be supporting teaching in Sri Lankan high school.

I would like to do a Kids / Teen Coding workshop – basically an introduction to coding. I feel many kids might be interested, but think it could be too difficult or don’t know where to start (at least that is how I felt). I had some great experiences attending them myself.

I’d like to bring a group of school pupils to the Bristol Robotics Lab and show them all the people and robots that we have here and show them the cool research we are doing.

I’m starting a nonprofit data school for refugees and other vulnerable communities, called Moderne Academy. We’re starting with Syrian refugees in Lebanon – teaching coding and data analysis and data visualization. I’d use the money to help fund that.
